One of the main ways we want to support bereaved children and their families is through an initiative we’ve called ‘Therapy through Themeparks’. This will be a way of providing days out, weekends away and annual passes to fun and exciting attractions around the country.
‘Therapy through Themeparks’ aims to support bereaved children and their families to:
- Have fun! (provided for you without needing any energy or emotional investment to make it happen!)
- Make new memories
- Mark and remember their special person who has died
- Know that as a family you can get through and keep on going.
‘Therapy through Themeparks’ seeks to primarily support:
- bereaved children and their immediate families, who have suffered the loss of a parent or sibling
